Structure
All video teachings are recorded and uploaded to this course portal. Please watch all video lessons in order - skipping will create confusion and that is completely antagonistic to the work you're here to do.
Some lessons have homework and Bible Study and others are just the video teachings. Pay close attention to homework assignments.
If you get stuck and need assistance, please email: contact@bizziegold.com with the subject line: Renew Student Help
I'm looking forward to teaching you for the next few months!
Books to Purchase
You will need a bible for this course. I like to use the NKJV or NLT. Any Bible will work just keep in mind words and syntax matter and oftentime the NIV doesn't have as accurate a translation.
Here are 2 Bibles I recommend that have sidebar study notes:
I also recommend buying my book Your Brain is a Filthy Liar if you don't already have it. It will help you understand self-deception, brain patterns and the mental health aspects of what we are breaking down Biblically.
Your Brain is a Filthy Liar Hardcover
Your Brain is a Filthy Liar Paperback
The Case for Christ is the book I reference in the first lecture video. Here's the summary:
Is there credible proof that Jesus of Nazareth really is the Son of God? In The Case for Christ, Lee Strobel, former legal editor of the Chicago Tribune and New York Times bestselling author, retraces his own spiritual journey from atheism to faith and builds a captivating case for Christ's divinity.
